Tips on Choosing the Right Exterior Paint in Coquitlam

Brand

All paints are not alike. You or your painter may have strong feelings and preferences about the quality of certain brands. Your painter may want to use a brand that he or she has a long experience with and that fits other criteria mentioned below.

Conditions

There are paints that are specially formulated for different weather conditions. For example, paints for hot and dry areas may have ultraviolet protections in them. Paints for wet or damp conditions (like in Coquitlam) might be mold resistant.

Surface

Your painter may want to select one paint over another because of the surface being painted. Painting stucco, for example, is different from painting cedar shakes.

Finish
