WHERE THE NAME COMES FROM
Most Companies Pick a Name. We Picked a Standard.
There is an actual scale for wall finishes in this trade, running from Level 0 to Level 5. Most jobs stop well short of the top. We named the company after the grade we refuse to finish below.
- Level 1 Joints taped. Nothing more. Above ceilings, inside walls nobody sees.
- Level 2 A thin coat over the tape. Garages and storage rooms.
- Level 3 Heavier texture only. Never for a smooth painted wall.
- Level 4 The standard most contractors stop at. Fine, until the light hits it.
- Level 5 A skim coat across the whole surface. Flawless under any light. Where we start.
WHO YOU’RE HIRING
A Family Business, Not a Call Centre
Level 5 was founded by two experienced painters with 20+ years of combined experience. The same people who quote your project are the people accountable for it.
David
Co-Founder
Your single point of contact from estimate to final walkthrough. David is the one who walks your project with you, writes the quote, and makes sure it runs on the dates, and the number, you were given.
Talon
Co-Founder
The standard-keeper. Talon built the prep and finish standards every crew follows, and he’s the one homeowners mention by name when they talk about the details being right before sign-off.
Five Values. Written as Rules.
Values are easy to put on a website. These are the ones our crews are actually held to on site, every day.
Knowledge
We tell you what your surfaces actually need, even when it’s the answer that makes the job smaller. Prep, products and process are explained before you commit, not after.
Integrity
The final invoice matches the written quote. Any change is documented and approved by you before we proceed. Nothing gets added without your sign-off.
Friendliness
Our crews are in your home for days at a time. They’re uniformed, polite, and easy to have around, and you get updates instead of having to chase us for them.
Cleanliness
Every surface is protected before a single brush comes out, and the work area is cleaned at the end of every day. Your home doesn’t become a construction zone.
Pride
We finish with a walkthrough together, and the job isn’t done until you say it’s done. Every project is backed by a 3-year written workmanship warranty.
The Result
1,000+ homes across the Tri-Cities, a 5.0 rating on Google across 200+ reviews, and a company built almost entirely on referrals and repeat customers.
A Perfect Rating Is Hard to Earn. That’s the Point.
Public, verifiable reviews from homeowners, designers and property owners across the Tri-Cities.
“Went heavily off Google reviews and saw that Level 5 had a perfect 5 stars. Was a bit sceptical as a perfect 5 stars are very hard to do. The 5 stars that they get make perfect sense. I’m picky and push for things to be done right. They nailed it.”
“I’ve used Level 5 several times as a designer. Every job they’ve done for me and my clients has been the best I’ve experienced in over twenty years in the business.”
“David & Talon and their crew endeavor to live up to their name. Impressed with the process, from the detailed quote for the scope of work, through the various steps, to the walk-around inspection at job completion. Professionalism, integrity and honesty.”
